Ginger Knows Best
If you have South Indian mothers, who are all into home remedies, you'll know that Ginger and Tulsi are not to be messed around with. Especially when your stomach decides to rebel against the food that you just had. The terrifying home remedy goes something like this - She takes a big chunk of Ginger, 3 to 4 cloves of Garlic, a bunch of Tulsi leaves, Some Mint leaves, Salt, and a huge squeeze of Lemon. She then takes them all in a pestle and mashes them all into a big juicy pulp with her pestle. She then rolls this mash into a big ball and proceeds to chase after you till you are cornered. All your pleading and tantrums are ignored while she pinches your nose till you cannot breathe and have to open your mouth. Once it in, you unfortunately cannot swallow it, she insists you chew it first. If there ever were an opposite for yum, this would be it. It takes about 30mins of misery before everything suddenly starts feeling better. This tea is the same thing, but compared to the ball of vile, it's the very opposite of what we just described. We think it will keep your tummy clean and healthy in the nicest possible way.
