How does the Cambridge Mask BASIC work?

Our masks use a material called 'melt-blown polypropylene' which is formed into fabric that can filter microscopically small particles. The filter technology ensures that we can filter particles as small as one fiftieth the width of a human hair. Cambridge Mask BASIC is elasticated around the edges and has an adjustable nose clip to help ensure a good seal and fit. The mask meet US Government standards for N95, meaning they filter over 95% of particulate pollution of PM0.3 and up. This means you are protected from pollution such as coal smoke, vehicle exhaust, spores, bacteria, viruses, dust, pollen, spores, forest fire smoke and sawdust.

How Do You Wear It?

We designed our ear straps with comfort in mind and protection in focus. Please make sure it's tight yet comfortable.
Most importantly, make sure that the nose pin is pressed down at the top and on the arches of the nose.
Pull at the edges of the mask to flatten out the nose area to lessen the space between your nose and the mask.
Check that it fits comfortably and covers your chin. You can wear our masks with glasses, headphones and hats!
