Fixderma Nigrifix Cream is a customised formulation to treat hyperpigmentation associated with acanthosis nigricans. It is a special formulation designed by keeping in mind the flaws faced by skin due to acanthosis nigricans. It is the first formulation of its kind to repair damaged skin and prevent further damage. It has retinol, which is considered one of the first-line treatment options for acanthosis nigricans. This vitamin A-based ingredient is the most used and most studied compound for ageing. It stimulates skin cell turnover, which is manifested as a sort of "exfoliating" effect. Lactic acid exfoliates by loosening the bonds between dead and hard skin cells to reveal a more radiant complexion.
The combination of lactic acid with retinol gives a synergistic improvement in the symptoms of acanthosis nigricans. Urea is a keratolytic agent and helps to loosen scaly, dead skin, allowing for exfoliation and improving cellular turnover. By retaining moisture and enhancing the skin's renewal process, urea helps to ultimately strengthen the stratum corneum barrier function to fight the scaly and leathery skin. Tea tree oil is rich in terpenes to soothe the dry and irritated skin. As a result, the appearance of darkened and dehydrated skin is improved.
