Minimalist Complete Acne Care Solution For Acne, Acne Marks & Scars Contains:
Minimalist Salicylic Acid Serum is a daily gentle exfoliant with 2% salicylic acid that wards off blackheads and keeps your oils in check for that flawless matte look everyone dreams. This salicylic acid serum easily penetrates the pore lining and flushes out dirt, debris, and sebum so your skin looks clear and baby-soft. This lightweight, fast-absorbing formula made with aloe vera juice helps to soothe any irritation generally associated with exfoliation.
Features:
- Blackhead removal serum: Minimalist's Salicylic Acid easily penetrates the pore lining and scoops out the dirt, debris, and sebum (clinically proven to work better than oil-based traditional salicylic acid), so skin looks clear and soft. Removes blackheads and whiteheads by keeping your pores clean and controlling excessive oil. It is a potent exfoliant for oily acne-prone skin.
- Pore cleansing and tightening: 2% BHA helps in pore cleansing by flushing out oil and dirt, minimizing pore size. Regular use not only reduce blackheads and whiteheads but also prevents future blackheads, resulting in clear skin. You can include it in your night skincare routine for pore exfoliation.
- Reduces acne and balances oil: It removes excess oil and shine, resulting in a matte look. Aloe added reduces the acne redness and soothes skin along with providing hydration. By effectively controlling oil production it acts as a potent anti-acne (or pimple) serum.
- Suitable for acne-prone and oily skin types: Unlike physical face scrubs BHA exfoliants are best for all skin types especially acne or sensitive skin. They are best as a regular exfoliator for oily acne-prone skin.
- Clean and transparent beauty: This serum is free from fragrance, silicones, sulfates, parabens, essential oils and dyes. Also, it is non-comedogenic, oil-free and hypoallergenic. Formulated at pH 3.5 - 4.0 with RonaCare Salicylic Acid Extra Pure from Merck, Germany, a global natural chemistry company.
About the Brand: Founded in 2020 with the belief that the beauty industry requires a revolution with respect to transparency, Minimalist believes that it should place importance on the actives of a plant rather than the plant itself. So, instead of rubbing some apples or citrus fruits on your face and hoping you will get results, what you should look for is glycolic acid which these foods contain. The brand strives to create 'Clean Beauty' products. Products that are free from well-researched toxins and do not sensitise your skin - irrespective of their natural or naturally derived tag.
Minimalist is committed to bringing 'transparency in beauty'. Their approach is to offer transparent dosage by showing active concentration, transparent grades by sharing ingredient trade name, transparent formulations by using clean ingredients, transparent claims by sharing consumer studies of each formulation. This direct and simplistic approach makes their products highly effective, easy to understand, and extremely affordable for everyone.
Minimalist Tranexamic 3% Serum is a powerful serum to effectively diminish the appearance of melasma, PIE, PIH and hyperpigmentation. With the power of 3% tranexamic acid and 1% hydroxyphenoxy propionic acid, this serum inhibits melanin transfer with great efficacy and prevents UVB damage.
The science behind this product: Tranexamic acid is a new generation molecule that inhibits melanin synthesis by interfering with the interaction between melanocytes and keratinocyte through inhibition of the plasminogen/plasmin system. External skin disruptors, such as UV light or injuries (like acne), cause the keratinocytes in our skin to produce plasminogen, that further start several processes like inflammation, increased tyrosinase activity, melanocyte differentiation, and transfer of melanosomes to upper skin layers. Tranexamic acid decelerates these processes by interfering with plasmin activity, and hence, in turn, indirectly inhibiting melanogenesis. Studies have shown that tranexamic acid, when applied topically, shows results similar to hydroquinone in the reduction of hyperpigmentation. It is also one of the most proven ingredients for the treatment of melasma.
Hydroxyphenoxy Propionic Acid (Radianskin) complements tranexamic acid as it has an innovative mechanism blocking the release of melanin by the melanocytes, an alternative to the inhibition of tyrosinase. HPA reduces melanogenesis by up to 86% and shows a greater depigmenting effect than ascorbyl glucoside, kojic acid and arbutin, and equivalent efficacy to hydroquinone without cytotoxicity. The formula also contains exfoliating acids like mandelic acid (3%) and salicylic acid (0.3%) which gently remove the dead cells from the top of the skin, boosting the performance of tranexamic acid and hydroxyphenoxy propionic acid, hence accelerating the reduction of hyperpigmentation and melasma.
Features:
- Proven to reduce melasma: Made with 3% tranexamic acid, which is a derivative of the amino acid lysine, this serum reduces the activity of melanocyte tyrosinase thereby treating melasma.
- What it contains: This serum contains 1% HPA (Hydroxyphenoxy Propionic Acid), which is proven to prevent melanogenesis better than ascorbyl glucoside, kojic acid and arbutin. Thus reduces post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) and post-inflammatory erythema (PIE). It also has equivalent efficacy to hydroquinone without cytotoxicity. The formula further contains 3% mandelic acid, which gently exfoliates and reduces acne scars.
- Suits all skin types: This serum is suitable for all skin types. Also, it is non-comedogenic and oil-free.
- Clean and transparent beauty: This serum is free from fragrance, silicone. Also, it is non-comedogenic, oil-free, and hypoallergenic. It is formulated at pH 3.8 - 4.8 with high-quality ingredients including HPA (Radianskin), which is a high performance active developed by BASF, Germany.
Consumer testing results:
- 8 out of 10 subjects saw an improvement in post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation in 6 weeks.
- 9 out of 10 subjects found reduction in melasma in 8 weeks.
- 8 out of 10 subjects found an improvement in skin tone and clarity in 6 weeks.
