Description

There's nothing that is more off-putting than the heavy, greasy feel of some creams, especially when you have oily skin. It feels like you are adding another layer to an already existing one. Isn't it? So while formulating Oleum Cottage's Balancing and Firming Creme this was the top most on their mind. It is fortified with the goodness of geranium essential oil, which helps treat acne; cypress essential oil, which works as a natural astringent that helps tighten pores, and grape seed oil which contains 'polyphenols' that help fight premature ageing. But the ingredient that literally seals the deal is jojoba, which mind you, is an ester and not an oil. And its makeup is so similar to the sebum produced naturally by our skin, that our skin cannot tell the difference, ensuring that there is no build up or clogged pores. In fact, it dissolves the excess sebum, which your oily skin will be eternally grateful for.

From a small boutique store in Powai, Mumbai, Oleum Cottage started making fresh, artisanal, apothecary-style skincare and took it to their flagship store in Bandra, Mumbai.
